Richard Hammond, Ph.D. talks about dark matter, cosmic rays, worm holes, the origin of the Universe and other things science still can't explain. Professor Richard Hammond is adjunct Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and works for the Army Research Office as a theoretical physicist.
He has published numerous scientific articles in a wide range of fields, from general relativity to quantum mechanics, and has pioneered a new theory of gravitation that has received international acclaim.
Dr. Hammond has received awards from NASA for specific research, and international awards for his research on gravity. He was recently invited, and accepted, to Cal Tech's Jet Propulsion Lab to study solar system tests of Einstein's theory.
The author of From Quarks to Black Holes, and a new book, The Unknown Universe, he claims to bring the world of physics to a public audience.
